Their has never been anything quite like The Red Hot Chilli Pipers, from a cameo appearance at T in the Park in 2004 with the Darkness to opening the main stage in their own right in 2014. The past ten years has seen the Red Hot Chilli Pipers become the most famous bagpipe band on the planet..ever! Bagpipes with attitude, drums with a Scottish accent and a show that carries its own health warning.
The bands achievements have reached incredible heights with their groundbreaking fusion of traditional Scottish music and Rock/Pop Anthems which they proudly call “Bagrock”.The Red Hot Chilli Pipers are a genuinely unique experience.
The Chillis have never been more in demand for their infectious style of feel good music which appeals right across the age range to people all over the world. They have collected together an impressive group of musicians from Scotland and further afield, many holding World Championship titles and all seriously good players with impressive credentials and qualifications.
In 2014 The Chilli Pipers released a new live DVD and CD entitled `Live at the Lake`. In an explosive evening of entertainment captured on this live DVD and CD, The Red Hot Chilli Pipers recorded their most adventurous project to date, bringing 16 musicians and dancers across the Atlantic to perform at Milwaukee Irish Fest, the US spiritual home of the band. They captured the unique and explosive power of the Chilli Pipers in one unforgettable evening by the shores of Lake Michigan. Tracks include .Insomnia, Gimme All Your Lovin’ , Thunderstruck, Everybody Dance Now, Amazing Grace, Fix You, Chasing Cars, Wake Me Up , Don’t Stop Believin and We Will Rock You.
During the winter of 2015/2016 the Pipers recorded new tracks and are excited to announce the release of a new studio album – “Octane”. It represents a high energy, powerful, intense and hopefully inspiring album that we aspired to create. “Octane” is a continued fusion of traditional tunes and rock classics, taking bagrock to a whole new level which The Red Hot Chilli Pipers are proud to share with you!

Seit die Red Hot Chilli Pipers 2007 bei der zur besten Sendezeit ausgestrahlten UK TV Talentshow “When Will I Be Famous” den ersten Preis gewannen, sind sie kaum zum Luft holen gekommen – es sei denn, um ihre Dudelsäcke zu blasen.
Ihr charakteristischer “Bagrock”-Sound hat den RED HOT CHILLI PIPERS ein breites Publikum beschert und die Chilli Pipers in kürzester Zeit zu einem globalen Phänomen gemacht. Die Band bringt Konzertsäle von den USA bis nach China zum Rocken. Sie gewannen 2007 und 2010 den Scots Trad Music Award als bester Live Act.
Nach 10 ereignisreichen und unglaublichen Jahren, nimmt das CHILLI Abenteuer mit ihrem neuen Studio Album “Octane“ seinen Lauf. Zwei Jahre nach „Live at the Lake “ hat die Band den „Bagrock“ auf ein ganz neues Level gebracht. „Octane “ ist im Januar bis März 2016 in Edinburgh, Florida und New York aufgenommen worden und wird in Juni 2016 veröffentlicht.
Mit raffinierten Cover-Versionen von „La Grange“ von ZZ Top und einer großartigen Version von Van Halen´s „Jump“ geben sie nur ein paar Beispiele dafür, wie gut Rockmelodien mit Dudelsäcken harmonieren.
Den größten Teil der Jahre 2014 und 2015 haben die RED HOT CHILLI PIPERS damit verbracht, vor weltweit ausverkauften Häusern ihre phänomenale Live-Show zu perfektionieren. Reisen nach Europa und in die USA festigten den Ruf der Band als einen der angesagtesten Live-Acts! U.a. haben die Chilli’s bei der MTV Europe Awards in Glasgow gespielt und Sketches mit Ed Sheeran und David Hasselhof gedreht. Die Chilli´s haben auch beim Fussball EM Qualifikationsspiel zwischen Deutschland und Schottland die Nationalhymne gespielt. 2016 verspricht ein Jahr voller Highlights zu werden, angefangen mit einer ausverkauften Show im legendären BB Kings Blues Club am Times Square in New York. Die Chilli´s werden dieses Jahr u.a. nach Wacken Open Air Festival zurückkehren wo sie an allen vier Tagen vom weltberühmtesten Heavy Metal Festival auftreten werden. Die Chilli´s werden auch auf anderen renommierten Europäischen Festivals spielen wie Paleo in der Schweiz und das Europäische Folklore Festival in Neustadt in Holstein. 2015 haben die Erfinder des „Bagrock“ mit ihren einzigartigen Sound neue Dimensionen erreicht, und 2016 verspricht natürlich noch mehr Jock ´n´ Roll Abenteuere.
